New Delhi: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will launch India’s first CNG Tractor on February 12. Rawmatt Techno Solutions and Tomasetto Achille India Company have converted diesel tractors into CNG tractors.
New CNG tractor will be helpful to increase the income of farmers by lowering the costs and the most important benefit for the farmer will be to save more than one lakh rupees annually on fuel costs, which will help them to improve their livelihood.
Union Ministers Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Narendra Singh Tomar, Parshottam Rupala and Gen.(Retd) VK Singh also remained present at the launch.
New CNG tractor will reduce the maintenance costs of a tractor and will reduce the content of carbon in the air too. It is Economical as it has zero lead and is non-corrosive, non-dilutive and non-contaminating which helps in increasing the life of the engine and it requires less regular maintenance.
CNG tanks in tractors will be tight seal, which reduces the possibility of explosion while refueling or in the event of a spill.
