Delhi Police Busted Pakistan-Organized terror Module, Six arrested

New Delhi: With the sharp brain and perfect inputs – the Delhi police and Uttar Pradesh ATS on Tuesday failed the Pakistan-organised terror module. After the operation – Delhi police special cell arrested six people including two terrorists who were trained by the Pakistan intelligence agency ISI in Pakistan.

The terrorists arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police have revealed that their training was also done in the same training camp in Pakistan where Mumbai attack convict Ajmal Kasab was trained.

The police further said underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s brother Anis was part of the team and funding was being done through the Hawala network.

According to Police, Those arrested have been identified as – Jaan Mohammad Shaikh (47) from Maharashtra, Moolchand (47) from Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareilly, Zeeshan Qamar (28) from Allahabad, Mohammad Abu Bakar (23) from Behraich, Mohammad Amir Javed (31) from Lucknow, and Osama (22) from Delhi.

Police in a statement said that “The police said the arrests were made during raids at various places in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Rajasthan. Those arrested were doing recce of cities ahead of upcoming festive seasons, and their targets were Navratri and Ram-Leela.

The police have also recovered arms, ammunition, explosives, and special pistols that were supposed to be used for targeted killings from their possession.
