
66 Maulanas take training, to link madarsas with Bharat Scouts and Guides
Bhopal: Altogether 66 Maulanas associated with Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind (JUI), India’s largest Muslim organization, will complete their advanced training of commissioner-level with Bharat Scouts and Guides’ national headquarters at the hill resort of Pachmarhi, near here, on Tuesday.

The four-day training commenced on September 13 and will conclude tomorrow.
Their training related to physical and mental fitness of the participants who now want to link their madarsas with Bharat Scouts and Guides, said Maulana Mahmood Madni, general secretary of JUI.
So far, JUI has got trained nearly 20,000 youths under the Scouts and Guides programme being run in 17 districts of Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Haryana..
The trainees include the madarsas’ heads of departments, and other officials.
Madani said nine rules of Bharat Scouts and Guides are Islam-compliant which, if followed, can make Muslim children contribute to the country and society.
