Visakha Film Festival (2024) was founded in 2016 and established from Indian film makers association in 2023 to carry forward Telugu Film Culture  lovingly known as Indian film makers association . It is India’s only independent international film festival, with a mission to celebrate the work of aspiring, young, independent & professional filmmakers.

The aim is to honor the lifetime effort of Shri Dasari Naryanarao ji and so, the festival celebrates the brilliance of the Indian film industry by making an effort to acknowledge and aid nascent projects by bringing them to mainstream audiences.VFF is a unique initiative intended to honor the Entertainment Industry and to appreciate creativity in the spectacular world of cinema.

The ceremony showcases cultural diversity, rich heritage, world famous Indian cuisine, folk dance, folk music, handloom and the beauty of Swadeshi. Being an ancient nation with a young populace brimming with ideas, talent and opportunities, India has much to offer to the world. The qualitative change that the nation has witnessed in the last few years has become a model of inclusive development. Hence, it has become a priority for VFF to signify and promote the blooming impact of culture through globally recognized cinema. The organization also supports the campaign of “Vocal for Local” and prioritizes the homegrown talent of the country. Unity in diversity (Telugu Film Makers Unity) is enthusiastically promoted in the spirit of harmony and fellowship.

The prestigious ceremony has an integrated milieu of 2 reputed Telugu states of India as the official Tourism Partners – Visakhapatnam Tourism. For the first time in the history of the entertainment industry, 2 venerated Tourism States are associated with an event.

1. Entries for the Visakha Film Festival are open for everyone. Participants under the legal age must submit a consent letter from their parent or guardian.

2. The Short Film or Feature Film  can be based on any subject or concept.

3. The short film can be in any language.

4. The total runtime of the Short Film, including opening & closing credits, should strictly be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 20 minutes.

5. All content used in the short film must be either owned or licensed. If any copyrighted material is used in the film, the participant must have the permission and submit a copy to the Festival Organizers.

6. The Last Date for Submissions is 15 th December 2024.

7. After 15th December, 2024, we’ll begin out “Late Entry Submission” process, wherein you’ll be able to submit your short film for an additional entry fee of Rs. 1200. The Late Entry Submission deadline is 16 th December, 2024.

8. Only Short Films produced & completed after 1st January 2023 are eligible for the festival.

9. Short Films that were submitted for entry into the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 edition of the Filmingo International Short Film Festival are not eligible for entry again.

10. The Entry Fee is INR 2200/- per film, 1200/- For Short Film and all.

11. Multiple entries from the same participant are accepted, but each film must be accompanied by a separate form and entry fee.

12. The Visakha  Film Festival 2024 will be undertaken as an Offline-only event. The screening of all officially selected short films will be done  will be made available for streaming to a private audience and the files will NOT be shared outside the screening website.

13. Indian Film Makers Association. reserves the rights to copy or use the material submitted by the participants in any form, online or offline, for the festival’s promotional and archival purposes. Note that your entire short film will never be shared with anyone or uploaded online without your permission. We understand that filmmakers want to keep the films private, and we will honor that.

14. The  films that are selected for final screening will not be allowed to withdraw under any circumstances until the festival is over.

15. Judges’ decision will be final and binding.

16. Festival Organizers and Indian Film Makers association reserve the right to change / modify / alter any rule or its part or event of this competition anytime. any Additional Information share  sales@ifma.in, www.ifma.in
